Biography
Jean Teboul is a founding partner of LLT, where he focuses his practice on complex civil and commercial litigation. He appears regularly before Quebec courts at all levels, including the Quebec Court of Appeal. Jean has extensive experience in contractual, real estate, and construction disputes — areas in which he advises his clients both before and during proceedings. He also acts in the obtaining and defence of injunctions and extraordinary remedies, including Mareva and Norwich orders, as well as in matters involving the recognition of foreign judgments and arbitral awards. Before founding LLT, Jean practised for over a decade at leading firms, including a major pan-Canadian firm — an experience that allowed him to develop a rigorous practice through exposure to high-stakes files. A published author in the field of civil litigation, Jean also sits on the board of directors and executive committee of the Jewish Public Library of Montreal. He previously served as associate editor-in-chief of the McGill Law Review.
